Nicole Fisher-Brown grew up understanding the realities of Philadelphia's streets. As a police officer, she witnessed firsthand the devastating impact gun violence has on families, children, and entire communities. But rather than accepting these tragedies as inevitable, she chose to fight back — not with force, but with purpose.

Drawing on her years as a competitive boxer, Nicole recognized that the discipline and mental fortitude developed in the ring could serve as a powerful antidote to the influences that lead young people toward violence. She founded Knockout Gun Violence Inc. to create a structured, empowering alternative — a place where youth could channel their energy into something transformative.

What started as a personal mission quickly grew into a movement. From youth boxing training sessions to school presentations reaching hundreds of students at a time, from women's self-defense workshops to violence prevention outreach programs, Nicole's work has become a cornerstone of community safety in Philadelphia.

Formally recognized by the Philadelphia City Council for her contributions, Nicole continues to lead by example every single day — as a law enforcement officer, as a champion athlete, as a devoted mother of three, and as the driving force behind one of Philadelphia's most impactful nonprofit organizations.
